APPLICATION AND CREDIT TRANSFER
Terms for which transfers may enroll: fall, spring
Closing date for transfer applicants: April 15 for fall, October 1 for spring
Notification date for transfer applicants: March through June for fall, October through December for spring
Dates transfer applicants must accept offer of admission by: June 1 for fall, within two weeks of notification of acceptance for spring
Lowest course grade that may be transferred for credit: C-
Maximum number of credits that may be transferred: 75 credits from a two-year institution, 75 credits from a four-year institution
Minimum number of credits that must be earned at school: 30 to receive an associate's degree, 45 to receive a bachelor's degree
Other/Unique transfer policies: Transfer applicants must submit transcripts from all colleges or universities attended and an essay. Those with fewer than 27 semester hours must submit secondary school transcripts and SAT scores. Priority is given to students with an associate's degree. Grades of "C-" or higher in comparable coursework transfer for credits. Students completing an approved MassTransfer associate's degree program with a minimum 2.5 GPA and who are in good academic, financial, and disciplinary status all previously attended colleges are guaranteed admission.
