APPLICATION AND CREDIT TRANSFER

Items required of transfer students to apply for admission:
  • high school transcript required of all
  • college transcript(s) recommended of all
  • essay or personal statement required of all
  • interview not required
  • standardized test scores recommended of some
  • statement(s) of good standing from prior institution(s) recommended of some
Minimum high school GPA required for transfer applicants: 2.20 using a 4.0 scale
Minimum college GPA required for transfer applicants: 2.00 using a 4.0 scale
Priority filing date for transfer applicants: August 1 for fall, December 1 for spring, June 1 for summer
Closing date for transfer applicants: rolling for fall, rolling for spring
Notification date for transfer applicants: within two weeks of submission for fall, within two weeks of submission for spring
Dates transfer applicants must accept offer of admission by: rolling for fall, rolling for spring
Lowest course grade that may be transferred for credit: C
Maximum number of credits that may be transferred: 60 credits from a two-year institution, 104 credits from a four-year institution
Minimum number of credits that must be earned at school: 27 to receive an associate's degree, 27 to receive a bachelor's degree
