APPLICATION AND CREDIT TRANSFER
Terms for which transfers may enroll: fall
Items required of transfer students to apply for admission:
  • high school transcript required of all
  • college transcript(s) required of all
  • essay or personal statement required of all
  • interview recommended of all
  • standardized test scores required of all
  • statement(s) of good standing from prior institution(s) required of all
Minimum college GPA required for transfer applicants: 2.50 using a 4.0 scale
Closing date for transfer applicants: March 1 for fall
Notification date for transfer applicants: early April for fall
Dates transfer applicants must accept offer of admission by: May 1 for fall
Lowest course grade that may be transferred for credit: C
Maximum number of credits that may be transferred: 12 credits from a two-year institution, 12 credits from a four-year institution
Minimum number of credits that must be earned at school: 142 to receive a bachelor's degree
Other/Unique transfer policies: All transfer students must complete the entire four-year program at the school. There are no transfers in the traditional sense into advanced (sophomore, junior, senior) class years. All students start as freshmen/4th-Classmen/'Plebe Candidates.'
