Items required of transfer students to apply for admission:
  • high school transcript recommended of some
  • college transcript(s) required of all
  • essay or personal statement required of all
  • interview required of all
  • standardized test scores recommended of all
  • statement(s) of good standing from prior institution(s) not required
Minimum high school GPA required for transfer applicants: 2.80 using a 4.0 scale
Minimum college GPA required for transfer applicants: 2.80 using a 4.0 scale
Closing date for transfer applicants: December 1 for fall
Notification date for transfer applicants: April 1 for fall
Dates transfer applicants must accept offer of admission by: May 1 for fall
Maximum number of credits that may be transferred: 12 credits from a two-year institution, 12 credits from a four-year institution
Minimum number of credits that must be earned at school: 108 to receive a bachelor's degree
Other/Unique transfer policies: Music courses must be validated through examinations; only elective credits will transfer.
