Admissions requirements:
Applicants must obtain a nomination from an approved source (Congress, the President, Vice President, or Department of the Army). All applicants must be at least 17 but not yet 23 years of age by July 1 of year of entry, unmarried U.S. citizens (foreign nationals with approval) in good health with no parental obligations or responsibilities, and must demonstrate leadership ability. Applicants should seek nomination and submit Service Academies Precandidate Questionnaire in spring of junior year. Applicants are advised to seek nominations from as many sources as possible and to contact the Admissions Office between July 1 and January 15 of senior year.
