Semester/term begin dates: in mid-August; cadets must complete Cadet Basic Training before they are admitted.
Calendar system: semester system (two terms comprise academic year)
Month(s) in which new student orientation is held: Upon arrival cadets complete Cadet Basic Training (CBT) six-week indoctrination into the Military cultural. During CBT, cadets learn to live by military standards, render proper military courtesies and complete a rigorous military training program.
