Calendar system: quarter system (four terms comprise academic year)
Month(s) in which new student orientation is held: August. First year orientation is a mandatory activity for incoming students.
Number and length of summer sessions: There is no summer course work during the first professional year. Beginning the summer after the second professional year, students are in session each of the four quarters.
